  Guangzhou Baiyun Station is a vital transportation hub in South China, carrying a significant number of passengers while serving as a “window” to showcase Guangzhou’s city image. In this project, the design incorporates the elements of Guangzhou’s city flower, the Kapok, blending modern aesthetics with a unique local style. The station’s ceiling molding plays a pivotal role in highlighting these design elements, seamlessly integrating with metal ceiling tiles and exterior wall solutions to bring the curved petals of the Kapok to life. 1. Kapok design that highlights Guangzhou’s characteristics
The exterior walls and ceilings of Baiyun Station are designed in the shape of Kapok petals, showcasing the cultural charm of Guangzhou through their unique forms. The addition of ceiling molding enhances this design by seamlessly blending the intricate petal shapes with the station’s architectural framework.
